The Vision: Authenticity and Depth


The brief for The Woodshed Kin Kin called for interiors that would balance rustic authenticity with refined warmth, creating a dining destination that felt welcoming, tactile, and timeless. Oscuro was chosen to ground the restaurant in depth and character, its natural tones and textures creating a foundation that feels both enduring and expressive.

The Role of EZTIER1010 Oscuro
 

In this project, Oscuro moved beyond function to become a defining element of the restaurant’s identity. Its moody tonal variation and hand-finished surface brought rhythm and drama to the interior, setting a tone that resonates with the timber, lighting, and natural materials layered throughout the space. Whether viewed in daylight or evening ambience, the tiles shift and respond to light, ensuring the restaurant feels alive with subtle movement and texture.

A Palette that Invites
 

Oscuro’s deep, earthy palette pairs seamlessly with The Woodshed Kin Kin’s rustic yet elegant concept. Against timber finishes and warm lighting, the tierra tile amplifies the sense of intimacy and connection, while its artisanal imperfections remind diners of the handmade, grounded qualities that define the restaurant’s ethos. The result is a dining experience anchored not only by cuisine but by environment, one that feels authentic, layered, and memorable.
