At Tiles of Ezra, we don’t believe exceptional products happen by chance. They are the result of years of experience, rigorous quality control and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship.
After years spent visiting and working alongside artisans and manufacturers across Morocco and around the world, we recognised that many of the issues commonly accepted within handmade and
natural materials could be reduced through better production methods, more rigorous inspection and higher internal standards.
The Tiles of Ezra Standard was developed from that experience.
It isn’t a manufacturing method. It is a philosophy that guides every product we create, regardless of where it is made.
Every collection is evaluated against the same principles of
craftsmanship, consistency, performance and quality before it
becomes part of the Tiles of Ezra collection.

At Tiles of Ezra, every collection begins with a simple belief: exceptional design deserves

Our products are handcrafted using centuries-old techniques by skilled artisans, but craftsmanship alone isn't enough. Every tile that carries the Tiles of Ezra name is held to a standard that goes well beyond traditional manufacturing.
We obsess over the details most people never see.
The difference between an average handmade tile and an exceptional one is rarely visible at first glance. It lies in hundreds of decisions made throughout the production process - how the clay is prepared, how long the tiles are dried, how the glaze is developed, how batches are
sorted, what is accepted during inspection, and, just as importantly, what is rejected.
At Tiles of Ezra, these are the details we focus on every day because we believe craftsmanship is defined as much by the decisions behind the scenes as by the finished product itself.
We don't chase perfection. We pursue authenticity.
We don't simply purchase products from factories. We work alongside our manufacturing partners to refine finishes, improve consistency, develop exclusive colours, solve production challenges and continually raise quality standards while respecting traditional craftsmanship.
We don't believe handmade tile should look machine made. Character, movement and variation are part of what makes artisan materials so special. Our role is not to remove that character - it is to ensure that every variation is intentional, beautiful and appropriate for the product.
The Tiles of Ezra Standard wasn't created in a boardroom...It was developed over years spent inside workshops, factories and quarries, working alongside artisans and manufacturers to understand what separates exceptional craftsmanship from acceptable production.
Along the way, we challenged processes that had simply been accepted for generations- not to remove the character of handmade materials, but to improve their consistency, performance and long-term reliability.
That philosophy now influences every decision we make, from product development and glaze design to quality control, technical documentation and customer education. Because we believe that exceptional products don't happen by chance. They are the result of thousands of thoughtful decisions made before a tile ever reaches a client.
